Found the song I was looking for (above)…fits my mood. Just feeling violent today…lots going on. Trip to Middle East confirmed…finally…after some jackpipe got off their sorry fat ass…Matty and I did half their fucking job for them…must be nice to take a 3 hour lunch. And to top it off, the Supreme Court said we can’t execute people who rape kids…doesn’t matter; no jury in the country (well, except maybe CA, Oregon, Washington state, and the entire North East…pussies) would convict a dad for seeking/EXECUTING justice on the perp. What is going on now…another big storm…numb to them now but don’t take chances. No call to seek hard shelter…yet…but it will come…yeeeee haw…ridin’ dirty! (as Rev Wright would say (ref: comment about “Can’t keep it in my pants” Clinton))! Remember my first storm here…water spout in Hillsburough Bay…which I live 1 to 200 yards from…awesome spectacle! But I tell you what, riding out this stuff in the middle of the night sucks but keeps your senses honed because you can’t see anything and have to watch for certain things…ribbon rain, tree’s at 90 °, people spazing…first hurricane season for me (soon, us!!!)…in the great words of Jimmy Buffet who spoke of riding out hurricans…”in a closet with a bottle of rum and a Jackson Brown album”…I’ll skip the rum though and just enjoy my new favorite drink…lemonade! Yet another Monday. Couldn’t find the track that I wanted so had to post an old Megadeth vid (yes, there is no “a” in death). Bought the newest Disturbed CD yesterday…awesome. Titled “Indestructable”—very good. Matty and Ryan were laughing at me today…they said, almost in unison “dude, do you settle on anything?” nope…been from the opera to the mosh pit…life is short… experiance it all. Also posted is from Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” saw it at the Met in NYC, the day after the first WTC bombing…Fud and I were having beer and eggs for breakfast at a pub across the street waiting to see the NY philharmonic at the time. Noticed a crap load of ambulances and cops only to look up at the TV and see what had happened. Ever get a chance to see an opera, do it…didn’t understand a damn word but beat any movie I’ve ever seen…same goes for saeeing a play on Broadway…”Les Misreables” rocked! Enough history but gentlemen (husbands/boyfriends) if you have a hair on your ass you will take your lady to see these venues…and yes, I still need to take WM. Be good to yourself—TFD
Riding out another tornado…once you recognize what to do, ain’t too bad. However, the folks in the midwest with all of the tornados, flooding and never ending rain need all our prayers and help.
I titled this Courage for a reason. I went down to do some work with the Special Ops guys and did not realize that TaskForce Sully (retired Army) was an amputee…lost his leg, lower part. He just got back from a work out…run and lift. I saw his prosthetic leg and it hit me; quit bitchin’ and drive on. Sully does not let anything get him down and always sees the positive…he is a very good man and sees the good of every situation, no matter how bad it is. That is something I have learned working with these guys and try to do every day…lemonade out of lemons! So from now on I’m going to quit bitchin’.

After a crappy day, I just needed a laugh…I kinda feel bad laughing at others stupidity…but…enjoy (almost posted Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” vid but didn’t want to embarass WM.) Lastly, another of my favorite song and a tribute to my Brit friends…I love Churchill’s speach for WWII…motivating.
